Clear the Shelters Adoption Event Crew
Volunteer Position Title: Crew Member
Position Tasks/Responsibilities
As a member of the Adoption Event Crew, your mission will be to work with the rest of the crew to ensure a smooth, positive, and productive experience for potential adopters, folks who stop by to pet a dog or two, fosters, and other volunteers.
Specific duties may include:
Assisting with event setup
Greeting members of the public
Dog handling or puppy wrangling
Taking photos or video
Answering questions about PetConnect, our adoption process, and our adoptable dogs
Clean up (accidents happen)
Assisting with event breakdown
Volunteers in this role should be: excited about PetConnect Rescue and dog adoptions willing to help in whatever capacity is needed (if able)* generally comfortable around dogs comfortable talking to people a positive team player *Although there are some physical tasks, such as set up and dog handling, there are other types of tasks as well that do not require those physical abilities or experience. All are welcome! Adoptions are at the core of our mission. You assistance in facilitating those adoptions helps PetConnect Rescue save more lives. Role’s Requirements/Qualifications
